Dr. Matthew Hejduk has
spent almost thirty years in the design, development, and assessment of space
sensing and command and control systems.
He holds degrees from Princeton University, Southern Methodist
University, and the University of Dallas; and he presently serves as chief engineer
for the spacecraft Collision Avoidance and Risk Assessment (CARA) project at
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. His research interests include advanced aspects of the satellite conjunction assessment problem, satellite
characterization and modeling from non-time-series signature data, satellite
orbit determination and characterization, and sensor and network simulation.
